Gino D’Acampo Backed by Fans After Backlash For Kissing Daughter On The Lips Kiss

‘Get over it and get a life’

Gino D’Acampo has hit back at “all the haters out there” and been backed by fans after he shared a photo of himself kissing his daughter on the lips.

The celebrity chef told any critics to “get over it and get a life,” and he received plenty of support from fans and friends.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “To all the haters out there……yes I still kiss my principessa on the lips, get over it and get a life.”

He also shared the post on Instagram, to which one person commented: “My dads 72 and I’m 41 and I kiss him on the lips too. Because he’s my dad.”

Another added: “Anyone who sees this as anything other than the love between a father & daughter is what’s wrong and the issue. If you’re sexualising this you’re not well.”

“Anyone who says it’s wrong to kiss your child on the lips says more about them. Beautiful picture & a beautiful family,” a third wrote.

His son Rocco replied with heart emojis, as did Gino’s friend Fearne Cotton.

Others suggested the kiss on the lips was actually much more normal in Mediterranean cultures.

“It’s only weird to people who don’t understand culture,” one person said. “My Greek son kissed and embraced his wonderful father, always.”
